Aware of the high environmental impact of the conventional tanning process, we have opted for a plant-based principle for leather. Although this alternative process is extremely time-consuming, it is environmentally friendly. In addition, the finished leather is particularly pleasant and kind to the skin. It takes between 30 and 60 days for a leather hide to be finished using the pit tanning process. This is a long time compared to the speed of chrome leather. Here, the tanning process often takes just one day. The saying "Good things take time" applies here.
