Care: Both materials are easy to care for. Alcantara can attract a little more fluff with dark colors, but is easy to clean with a soft brush or damp cloth. Leather develops a natural patina over time, which makes it look even more individual.
Feel: Alcantara feels velvety soft - similar to suede - and offers a non-slip, almost textile surface. Leather is somewhat smoother and more classic in comparison.
Everyday appearance: Alcantara remains visually constant and hardly changes. Leather ages "gracefully" and becomes more beautiful over time - depending on use and care.
Embossing & personalization: Leather is much better suited for logos, embossing or engraving. This is technically possible with Alcantara, but visually and haptically less pronounced.
Sustainability: Our leather is vegetable-tanned and therefore particularly sustainable. Alcantara is an innovative microfiber fabric that is considered an animal-free, durable premium material. However, it scores points for its CO2-free production in Italy.

Yes, you can have your cover personalized by us. We charge a small fee for the work involved. To see what this could look like, simply go to the product and click on the "Personalization" button. There you will find a handy tool that shows you a preview of your desired embossing. You can choose between blind embossing and silver or gold embossing.
Clean regularly: Use a slightly damp cloth to remove dirt. Damp not wet!
Avoid moisture: Protect the cover from excessive moisture. If the cover gets wet, dab it dry immediately and allow it to air dry at room temperature.
Leather care: As a rule, you do not need leather care. Our leather has a high fat content, which keeps the leather supple. However, if you get the impression that the leather is dry, occasionally use a special leather care product or balm to keep the leather supple. Apply the care product (1-2 drops) sparingly with a soft cloth and then gently polish the cover.
Avoid direct sunlight: Protect the leather from direct sunlight to minimize fading. Strong heat can dry out the leather.
Remove dust: Wipe the cover regularly with a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust and dirt. You can also use a brush set to remove dust and loose dirt.
Stain treatment: For light stains, you can use a damp cloth with a little mild detergent (soap). Dab the stain carefully and avoid rubbing too hard.
Drying: Allow the cover to air dry after cleaning. Avoid direct exposure to heat to protect the material.
Easy care: Alcantara is naturally easy to care for, so no special care products are required. Regular cleaning is sufficient to keep the material in good condition.
