Yes, the ultra-flat fastening element is simply placed in the bottom of the case. The cell phone then clamps the element in place. We recommend the cases that are closed at the bottom so that the element is securely fastened. But the cases that are open at the bottom also work according to our own experience.

Can I charge my iPhone with a cable even though it's attached to a phone strap?

Yes. The design is so slim that the charging port remains accessible. You can charge your iPhone as usual, either via cable or wirelessly (MagSafe, Qi).
