Leather is our passion. This natural, elegant, hard-wearing material is perfect for making great leather gifts. They stand for elegance, sustainability and high quality. Gifts made of leather are also highly valued because they are long-lasting and therefore represent a beautiful memory, especially if they have an individual monogram. Gifts made from leather and other high-quality raw materials

For the leather, we have opted for a full-grain cowhide that we source from suppliers in Tuscany. With this manufacturer, we can be sure of getting the best quality.

For leather gifts, it is also important to use mulesing-free merino wool felt. This is a wonderfully soft, yet durable and hard-wearing material. It offers excellent protection for technical devices, for example. Another aspect for leather gifts. Did you know that you can customize many of our products with an individual monogram or lettering? You can always see whether a product can be finished directly on the product.

It goes without saying that leather gifts need to be stitched for durability. We achieve this with a thread made from old PET bottles. We believe that this also makes leather gifts a great example of a functioning raw material cycle.

If leather gifts contain press studs, these are of Italian quality. These press studs from Prym are made especially for us as they are finished with our Good Wilhelm logo.

Climate and the environment are important to us

You may be aware of how harmful conventional leather tanning is to the environment. Knowing this, we have opted for a plant-based, environmentally friendly alternative. Although this process is very time-consuming, the result will convince you. The leather is wonderfully soft, hard-wearing and particularly kind to the skin. Gifts made from leather are therefore unlikely to cause allergic reactions to the skin.

We also focus on quality and sustainability when it comes to the other raw materials we use for leather gifts. We prefer to work with suppliers who think like us when it comes to environmental and climate protection.

How and where do we produce leather gifts?

Our manufactory is located in the North Rhine-Westphalian knife city of Solingen. This is where we carefully handcraft leather gifts.

During production, we take our time and take the time that is necessary, because we want to produce leather gifts that are not only beautiful and elegant, but also durable.

After production, leather gifts undergo another quality control. Here we look meticulously for any defects. Only when we are one hundred percent satisfied do we pass the leather gifts on to the shipping department. Here, too, we produce hardly any plastic waste. Environmentally friendly packaging is also suitable for protecting leather gifts from damage in transit.

How to care for leather gifts

Gifts made of leather are actually ideal for anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of time cleaning and caring for them. After all, leather is an easy-care, durable material that hardly absorbs dirt. Over time, it also forms a kind of patina, which additionally protects it from dirt. You can simply wipe off surface dirt with a damp cloth. However,

leather gifts occasionally need a little leather cream to keep the material soft and flexible. With a product that is also suitable for the care of leather clothing, you can optimally care for the leather. Apply a thin layer of the cream and leave it on for a while. Afterwards, remove any excess cream with a dry cotton cloth in one hand movement. Leather gifts don't need any more care.
