The outside is made of full-grain cowhide, which we source from our long-standing supplier in Tuscany. This leather is one of the highest quality leathers we know. Naturally, the leather is purely vegetable-tanned and therefore absolutely non-toxic on contact with the skin. At Good Wilhelm , we only use vegetable-tanned leather. As soon as you open the smooth-running YKK zipper of your laptop sleeve, you can take a look at the soft inside of the Macbook cover. This is made of pure merino wool felt (mulesing-free), which you can use to protect your MacBook Air 13 inch or Macbook Pro 13 inch from dirt and bumps. Our wool felt is of course mulesing-free. This means that we do not use wool from regions where the mulesing method is used in sheep farming.

With our Macbook cases, we not only think about quality and style, but also about the sustainability of the products. We have sewn the leather and wool felt of our MacBook cases with a waterproof and tear-resistant thread from AMANN, which is made from recycled PET bottles. A purely recycled product. There can hardly be a more elegant alternative for a second life for disposable bottles.

Of course, we also offer Macbook with space for accessories. Our FRIEDRICH , for example, has a large front compartment where you can store a few small but important items such as various USB-C adapters, a notebook, or your smartphone.

Please note that this case is a laptop cover. Unfortunately, there is no space for the original Apple charging cable and charger. Instead, we recommend our practical leather cable organizer. You can store all your cables and accessories there and stow them away in style.

Our LUDWIG sleeve is designed to hold a Macbook . It closes with a flap secured by a strong magnetic clasp. Even more minimalist is our HENRY. A truly simple sleeve that provides excellent protection for your device and allows access to the Magsafe , but is not completely closed.

You could almost be jealous of your laptop, as comfortable as the inside of the MacBook bag appears. Shocks and scratches are comfortably absorbed and the all-round zipper from YKK ensures that you can open and close it easily and permanently.

We attach great importance to sustainability and want to have as little impact on the environment and climate as possible. We already pay attention to this when purchasing our raw materials. We work with German and Italian suppliers , which we select according to appropriate criteria. We then manufacture the leather MacBook sleeves and of course all our other products by hand in Solingen in North Rhine-Westphalia.

In the knowledge of how environmentally damaging a conventional leather tanning process is, we have also decided on an environmentally friendly alternative here.

The purely vegetable tanning process that we use for the leather bags is a lengthy process, but a worthwhile one, because after weeks the result is a wonderfully tanned leather that is very kind to the skin.

After we have produced your laptop case, it has to go through our careful final inspection once again. Only when everything is 100% to our satisfaction do we place your leather MacBook sleeve in a protective cover made of organic cotton and send it off. You can be sure that it will arrive exactly as we sent it.
