Many people impregnate their leather so that it is protected from water stains in the best possible way. If non-impregnated articles become a water stain, drying must be slow and gentle. It is important that the leather items are never placed on the heater. Otherwise, it quickly happens that the leather dries out and becomes brittle, causing fractures and cracks. Likewise, the leather should not be placed directly in the sun, otherwise it can easily lead to unpleasant discoloration.
If you want to remove such stains from leather, you should first use some newspaper. This absorbs the moisture so that no unpleasant stains appear or remain on the leather. It is then possible to work on the surface of the leather with a hair dryer. To avoid breaks and cracks, however, cold air should be used afterwards. It is equally important that the hair dryer is held at a certain distance from the leather so that the air does not act too intensively on it.
