The " HENRY " combines the best qualities of wool felt and leather: on the outside, vegetable-tanned Vachetta leather from Tuscany, which becomes more beautiful with every use; on the inside, soft merino wool felt that protects the surface of the " MacBook Neo" without scratching it.

The FRIEDRICH is designed for anyone who doesn’t want to sacrifice practical storage space with the MacBook Neo. The front accessory pocket holds charging cables, a notebook, or documents—without making the sleeve look any bigger than necessary. The exterior features the same Vachetta leather as the HENRY, while the interior has a soft felt lining.

Wool felt or leather—which offers better protection?
Both materials reliably protect the MacBook Neo from scratches and minor impacts. The difference lies in their characteristics.
Wool felt: soft, lightweight, functional
Merino wool felt is naturally soft, provides mild temperature regulation, and fits snugly around the device. It doesn’t scratch, produces hardly any lint, and retains its shape even after years of use. The NEO adds virtually no weight to the MacBook Neo. Anyone who puts their sleeve on and takes it off every day will appreciate how easy this material is to use.
Vachetta leather: sturdy, full of character, durable
Vegetable-tanned Vachetta leather from Tuscany is sturdier, more durable, and develops a patina over time that gives each sleeve its own unique character. A leather sleeve looks better after two years than it does after two weeks. That’s not a promise—it’s physics.
Note
Vachetta leather is untreated and more sensitive to moisture. However, a brief rain shower isn’t a problem—just wipe it dry quickly. Leather develops signs of wear—that’s its strength, but also its unique characteristic. If you don’t want a patina and prefer a flawlessly uniform surface, the NEO is a better choice for you.

Yes. The MacBook Neo has the same dimensions as the MacBook Air 13". All three sleeves—NEO, HENRY , and FRIEDRICH —fit both models. You can find the dimensions on the respective product page.
Does a wool felt sleeve really protect the MacBook Neo well?
Yes. 3 mm merino wool felt reliably cushions scratches and light impacts. It’s naturally soft and won’t scratch the surface of the MacBook Neo. No sleeve in the world is designed to withstand severe drops—but for everyday use in a bag or backpack, wool felt is an excellent choice.
What is the difference between NEO and HENRY?
The NEO is made entirely of merino wool felt—lightweight, soft, and minimalist. The HENRY combines Vachetta leather on the outside with wool felt on the inside. It is slightly heavier and sturdier, develops a patina, and is ideal for anyone who appreciates the character of genuine leather without sacrificing the softness of the wool felt lining.
Can I have the sleeve personalized?
Unfortunately, no—none of the three sleeves can currently be personalized. The reason: All of the sleeves are lined with wool felt on the inside, and the brass dies of an embossing machine would penetrate too deeply into the material and leave an unsightly imprint of the tool. If you're looking for a personalized " MacBook " sleeve, you'll find other leather products without a felt lining in our selection.
Where are the " MacBook " Neo cases manufactured?
All three sleeves—NEO, HENRY , and FRIEDRICH —are manufactured in Germany. The Vachetta leather comes from Tuscany (Conceria 800), and the merino wool felt is mulesing-free and also sourced from Germany.
