At GOOD WILHELM, we have a mission. We are constantly on the lookout for the best and most sustainable leathers in the world for you. Our German leather manufacturers and fine bag makers use these to handcraft high-quality and refined leather products for our current collection. We only sell directly to you. Our leather goods are only available through direct sales.
That means for you: The best materials, sustainable and handmade in Germany, at a fair price.
1. only the best materials
We source our high-quality leather directly from the producer. Currently from a small family business in Tuscany, Italy and a leather specialist from Barcelona, Spain. We only have our leather produced there 2-3 times a year to make transportation as rare as necessary and as effective as possible. These leathers are produced sustainably and are absolutely world class. You can find out more about our leather here (link).
2. handcrafted in Germany
In Germany, this great leather is delivered directly to our manufactories, which realize our designs with high craftsmanship. All our factories are run by masters of their trade and pay their employees fair wages.
3. the best product at a fair price
We market our products exclusively through direct sales. This means that GOOD WILHELM products are not available in stores, but exclusively here. What this means for you is that you get Best quality at the best price.
The otherwise inflated trade margin in the premium market of manufacturing costs multiplied by 5 or even 6 is eliminated. With us, the product price only includes the manufacturing costs multiplied by 2 - 2.5.
For you, this means that there are no additional costs for wholesale and retail margins.
(Even with our "no-profit products", such as the glass coasters, you only pay production costs multiplied by 2.5, but 100% of the profits go to our "Forest Lease Project". (You can find out more about this project here).
